As CIO and Principal of Avalon Trust, Christine articulates the Company’s investment philosophy and oversees investment strategy, including asset allocation and portfolio construction. In her role as Chairperson of Avalon’s investment committee, Christine coordinates investment research and risk management. She also follows macroeconomic trends and investment themes. In managing investment portfolios, Christine works closely with our clients to achieve their long-term objectives.

Christine has worked in the investment industry for 17 years, starting at Northern Trust in Chicago and later as an equity portfolio manager for the State of New Mexico’s multi-billion dollar permanent endowment funds. She is a member of the CFA Institute, the leading global association of investment professionals. She is a graduate of Leadership New Mexico and is a trustee of St. Michael’s School endowment trust. Christine earned her bachelor’s degree and MBA from the University of New Mexico and has attained her CFA designation.
