Julia Peters, JD In her role as Senior Vice President, Julia is committed to resolving the broadest variety of issues facing clients. She takes a proactive approach to tasks, offering our clients options that simplify, clarify and improve outcomes. Her ability to collaborate and her creative approach to projects is reflected in the variety of transactions that clients entrust her with: from the transfer of real estate, reviewing and mapping out estate plans, to negotiating the sale of fine art, to implementing complex philanthropic strategies. Before joining Avalon, Julia practiced estate planning and real estate law in Seattle and most recently was a managing partner with the law firm Sutin, Thayer & Browne. She serves on the boards of Leadership New Mexico, Delta Dental and the Millicent Rogers Museum and is on the faculty of the National Business Institute. Julia earned her bachelor’s and law degrees from Willamette University and is a member of the New Mexico and Washington State Bars. |
