Andy oversees the Company's longterm direction, ensuring that Avalon maximizes the strength of its independence and continues to build strategic relationships. He is a member of the Avalon investment committee, actively manages client portfolios and conducts investment research. He leads the Avalon team in resolving complex client concerns and coordinates our network of qualified professionals to bring the full resources of Avalon to our clients.
Before joining Avalon, Andy was a partner for 16 years at Baldwin Brothers, an investment advisory firm in the Boston area. Andy has been involved in numerous for-profit and non-profit boards. He was the founding Chairman of the Board of the Wolf School and a founding Board Member of the Middlebridge School, both schools for children with learning differences. He was a founding Venture Partner at the Rhode Island Foundation. He is a current board member of both Radius Books and SITE Santa Fe, where he was the former Board Chair. Andy received a bachelor's degree from Brown University and an MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA.
